Effect of Bobitang on Gastric Juice Secretion and Motibility of Gastro-intestine

Abstract
|
|
|
In order to investigate experimentally the clinical effects of Bobitang, the actions on gastric secretion, motility of gantro-intestine and transport rates in the intestine were studied.
@ES The results were summerized as follows.
@EN 1) Supression effect on gastric juic secretion, pH free acidity, total acidity and pepsin output were recognized, significantly.
2) Spontaneous motility of the isolated ileum of mice was suppressed and antiacetylcholine and anti-barium chloride action were shown.
3) Anti action on acetylcholine and barium chloride of fundus-strip of white mice were recognized.
4) Action on gastric motility of rabbit were suppressed.
5) The small intestinal transportability of mice was increased.
6) The suppression of large intestinal transportability by BaSO4 was recognized.
According to the above results, effects based on oriental medical reference were consistent with the actual experimental effect.
